"I grew up surrounded by a creative family, and was always encouraged to draw, paint and sew. Inspired by my grandmother's passion for embroidery and her vast collection of fabrics and beads, I went on to study textile design at university, where I created large scale textile artworks."
"Wanting to hone my making skills, I was selected to be part of The CHANEL & King’s Foundation Métiers d’art Embroidery Fellowship in Partnership with Le19M. This course provided rigorous training in specialist couture embroidery techniques, including the rare art of Tambour, which I use in my pieces today."
"Once I had completed training, I moved to London to freelance for esteemed clients such as English National Ballet, assisting their costume department in the construction and embroidery of their costumes."
"In 2025, having lived in the city for several years, I felt the desire to return back to my countryside roots, and moved to the North Devon coast. At the same time, I felt compelled to pursue my own creative practice once again, and with the help of The King's Trust Business Enterprise Programme, established my textile jewellery and art brand."
"Now I create hand stitched jewellery and artworks that echo the ancient beauty of the earth and sea. Influenced by the coastline, I sketch natural and imagined forms that are then translated into textile processes. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, lovingly crafted from found fabrics, delicate beads, fine wire, crochet, knit, found objects and embroidered surfaces. Slow-made, these works are intended to be held, worn, and lived with."
