Handcrafted brooch made from machine knit silk, latex, sterling silver and beads. In Welsh folklore, ‘glain y neidr’ stone amulets, also known as snake/adder/hag stones were thought to possess healing, protective and lucky powers. This ethereal brooch interprets these themes into a snake-like textile with delicately beaded details. 10cm x 15cm.
